San Gerardo de Dota
We went to beautiful valley of San Gerardo de Dota. This amazing place is home to one of the most wonderful/Beautiful birds of the world, the Resplendant Quetzal. We woke up at 5:30 in the morning and got to see 3 of them!!!!!
White Water Rafting in Pacuare.
We had the greatest time at Pacuare River. The guides, the food, the camp and of course the river all of it Awesome!!
We meet Will Smith (by association)
Our guide Diego worked with Will Smith last year. So now it is like we know him too :)

Goodbye Sitio de Mata
Yesterday morning before leaving beautiful Sitio de Mata and the lovely families, we paid a visit to the school to share some gifts with the kids

What a lovely time we all had with the party the families throw for us. Dancing, eating, laughing. We loved it!!!
Reciclying workshop
Lovely Fressy teaches all how important is to reduce how much plastic we use. Also she showed us how to make a wallet out of a milk box.

Yesterday afternoon we had cooking lessons and then we went to the soccer field for a great game.

World's Environment day with Butterflies, sloths, agriculture.
We had a great morning walking to a nice garden to see butterflies a sloth and lots of interesting plants. Also we went to a farmers house where we learned how make sugar cane juice, we ate the best pineapple ever ( totally organic).
Cooking and having fun!!!
In the afternoon we went to learn about organic compost, cooking Prestiños and gave our homestay moms a nice little gift!!!!

After driving across the mountain ranges we arrive to the village where our families gave us a nice welcome.
